Why should I use NearPro instead of just finding a pro on Google?
When you search Google you get a list of names with no way to verify who they are, whether they're insured, or whether previous customers were happy. With NearPro, pros apply with ID, license, and insurance info and are personally reviewed before they're approved. Your payment is held securely until the job is done, and every job comes with a review from a real customer. Google gives you a list. NearPro gives you certainty.
How fast do I get matched with a pro?
Most bookings are matched with a verified local pro within a few hours. You'll see your pro's name and details right in your dashboard once they accept.
Are NearPro pros actually verified?
Yes. Every pro submits ID, license, and insurance details before being approved, and we manually review every application before they can accept jobs.
Are the pros on NearPro insured?
Every pro is required to carry minimum $300,000 to $500,000 general liability insurance depending on service type, with NearPro named as additional insured. Coverage is verified by our team from the actual certificate of insurance, not just self-reported.
How does payment work?
Your card is authorized once your pro accepts your request — not charged yet. Payment is automatically captured and released to your pro the moment they mark the job complete, which requires them to upload an after-photo first. From there, you have 24 hours to contact us if anything's wrong, which triggers a full review and refund if your claim checks out.
What happens to my money if the pro doesn't show up or does a bad job?
If the pro doesn't show up, they never mark a job complete, so nothing is ever charged — your hold is simply released back to your card. If the job is done poorly, contact us within 24 hours of completion and we'll investigate using the required after-photo and any messages from the job. If your claim is valid, you're refunded.
What if I'm not happy with the job?
Contact us within 24 hours of job completion. We'll review the before-and-after photos and any messages from the job, then make a decision within 48 hours. If the work was genuinely unsatisfactory, you're refunded.
Can I request the same pro again?
Yes — when you book again, just look for them by name in the pro picker and select them directly. We don't automatically match you with a previous pro yet, but it's easy to pick them again yourself.
Do I need a subscription or contract?
No. Every booking is one-time — no subscriptions, no contracts, and no recurring charges unless you choose to rebook.
What areas does NearPro serve?

Can I cancel a booking?
Yes — you can cancel any booking that hasn't been started yet, directly from your dashboard, no fees.
