Why join NearPro instead of running my own ads?+
Running your own Google Ads in Houston costs $15 to $40 per click. If 10% of clicks convert, that's $150 to $400 in customer acquisition cost per job before you earn a dollar. What is the commission structure?+
Your first job is completely free: 0% commission, you keep 100%. After that, commission starts at 10% and drops every 10 jobs: 9% at job 10, 8% at job 20, 7% at job 30, and 6% from job 40 onward, for life. Jobs 50, 100, and 150 are free, and from job 200 onward every 100th job is just 5%.
What if a customer makes a false claim about my work?+
Every job requires an after-photo before you can mark it complete. It's built into the flow, not a separate step you have to remember. These photos are your protection: if a customer raises a concern, we review the photographic record before making any decision.
Do I need insurance?+
Yes. Every pro must carry minimum $300,000 to $500,000 general liability insurance depending on service type, with NearPro Services LLC named as additional insured. If you don't have insurance yet, several insurers offer same-day digital policies starting around $25/month, and your application stays open for 7 days while you get covered.
